Carolie’s Dream
The project was inspired by "The Museum of Extraordinary Things." In the book, Carolie had numerous things she wanted to do, yet her father didn't allow them. Therefore, I endeavored to assist her in fulfilling her wishes. I chose the moments that held immense significance for Carolie. From these moments, she garnered strength, retained kindness and courage, and ultimately developed into a powerful girl.

Carolie was peeking at her father's museum.
She looked out at the moonlit sea. Recently, she heard that a girl in town had escaped from a second-floor bedroom with sheets and braids.
Carolie woke up in a nightmare. She saw green liquid spewing from under the floor, the fins between her fingers, the scales on her face.
She thought that if she were allowed to ride a carousel, she would ride away and never return.
Carolie liked to sit on the back steps with Maureen as they ate sandwiches filled with lettuce and butter. Maureen concocted a mixture of aloe vera with peppermint and rubbed it between Carolie's fingers, which may soothe Carolie's discomfort.
There was a bloody atmosphere in the air. The feverish crowd gathered, waiting for the execution, though it was a chilly winter night. Weep for Topsy.
When the tide became too frigid in the wintertime, Carolie would trot with his father along the beach. She always lagged so that she might appreciate the beauty of the beach.
Carolie and her father walked out to the path outside to walk through the front door as customers did. All the bulbs were turned on to celebrate her birthday. Before they went in, Carolie's father asked her to take off her pearl necklace and gloves.
Carolie slid into the big water tank without having to say anything from Dad. She knew what to do.
No more tolerate. It’s time to leave.
